Happy 2010 Everyone,
I am really going to be a good mommy and start updating this more often....that is my 2010 resolution....that and play more, clean less! So since I last updated, Scott had a Birthday and turned the big 28!!!! And I also had a birthday and turned the big 25! A quarter of a century! Then we had Thanksgiving, which was a bit different this year because none of my siblings came home and instead of going somewhere for lunch I made a Thanksgiving meal for my parents and us, and I have to say I think it all turned out quite nicely! It is always nice to be able to use my beautiful dishes that do not get used very often! Then on the 20th of December we went to the ALbers Christmas in Oronoco and it was great to see everyone, and we got to meet Matthew and Briannas little baby girl Magdalena and found out that my cousin Joleen and her husband Jay are expecting in July, so the Albers clan is really growing! Christmas Eve we went out to Scotts parents and had a lovely feast. Scott got some tools that he wanted, so he was very happy! I got a new winter coat that was much needed and a beautiful pair of warm mittens! as well as a gift card to get a new pair of jeans....amen! I now do not have a jacket from High School and I can wear a cute new pair of jeans that are not from High School! Olivia got a cute little walker, books, Nikes, and some other toys...including her first doll! Henry got a new red tractor, digger, and ammonia tank!, as well as a tractor pillow case, red tractor pillow, cars shoes (that light up!) and some little tractors and wagons too, and a dump truck! Then at Great-Grandpa McNamaras Henry got a nother dump truck with a plow on the front, and from carmen he got some puzzles which we have already done a million times! And Olivia got a beautiful handmade dollhouse bookcase from Great-Gpa Mc!!!! Hopefully I will have photos soon! it is amazing! We just have to go paint it one of these days!!!! But it is just beautiful! Olivia also got a little purse from Carmen that is too cute and she loves to play with it, putting eveything in and out! Then on Christmas day we went to my parents house and Henry got a three blind mice pillow case (because that is one of his many favorite songs!), a bobcat/skid loader, and a clock puzzle...oh and how can I forget....the beloved haybales!!!!!! And Olivia got a cute blanket that my mom made, a doll and carrier, and a cute little Minnie shirt for this summer (that I am quite certain Henry will want to wear!) and I got a beautiful yard decoration! I cannot wait until the ground finally thaws so that I can put it up! Scott got a great Minnesota Gophers Sweatshirt that has already been worn multiple times! and a farm game that we really do need to play sometime! And Kari and Kyle gave Henry a nice metal dump truck and a Bob the Builder movie! Then Santa....oh santa....how could I forget....Santa brought Henry a train table and train set, which he really does love and he things he needs to show everyone who comes to our house! and he got an ambulance, tag reading system with some books, a disney collection book, a snow white puzzle, a MN twins shirt, a mickey shirt, the memory game, paint, markers, coloring books, play doh, candy, and a Dr.Suess game. Olivia got the alphabet train from santa clause and it is really cute! she also got a doll that giggles, a nightie, puzzles, a little push toy/riding toy, and some books. So santa was pretty darn good to Henry and Olivia! Then on saturday we went to my parents again to see scott, steph gavin and maddie. And They had more gifts for Henry and Olivia....Henry got a twins shirt, a puzzle, and the fishing game!!! and Olivia got another cute little walker and an adorable little dress!!! So now we are still just trying to rearrange things in our house to organize all these toys!!!!
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will be listing our house for sale in Zumbrota so that we can move to the country!!! we will keep you posted! Oh, and Olivia did get her ears pierced, and they are so cute!!!! I will add some photos either later tonight or tomorrow of christmas and the kids, so please check back soon....and as said earlier I will try to update this more often!
See you Soon~The Morgans
