Valentine's Day

Good Early Morning to everyone,

Well I completed my first race on Sunday since Olivia Kate was born a year ago! And, surprisingly it went very well for it being zero degrees and windy when we began, as well as quite slippery and snow covered in most areas! I ended up placing 4th in my age division at 1:45:00 so i was very happy with that. And overall I was 40th out of 190 people that finished!!!!
I was not sure I was going to run it because that morning it was so cold out...I told scott multiple times that I could just go to the gym and come back home instead! But I am really happy that I went out and actually did it!

Other than that we really have not done too much lately.

Last Friday the kids and I went out to eat with Kari and Benjamin for Karis Birthday and went and did a little shopping at the MOA. Henry also went on his first ride while we were there (thanks so much Kari for letting me go on the ride with him!) and to my surprise Henry LOVED it! It was a little roller coaster and he put his hands up and everything! It was so cute! Now I cannot wait to take him back again for some more rides! And I got to go to my beloved store ATL! Amen! I miss that store so much in rochester, although, scott has noticed that it has helped our checkbook just a bit! I wish I had my camera while we were out to eat, I felt so bad, but Olivia made such a mess! Oh my goodness, I felt so terrible! It was truly everywhere under her chair/table area! Henry was a good boy while we were shopping! a typical two-year-old who wanted to hide under the clothing racks in stores, run away from us! but overall a very good boy! and he was also so excited because he got to see airplanes on our way home! it was the prefect time of evening, because there were at least ten planes waiting to land that were just hovering in the sky and he loved it!

Olivia did get her 1 year photos done the other day by a lady in Stewartville, she was so sweet and did just a great job despite Olivias temperment that day! she wanted nothing to do with pictures that day! There are only 18 photos, which i thought I might be sad that there were only 18, but in honesty, it is so awesome! I love all 18 photos, they are so sweet, innocent and precious and I can actually choose relatively easily which ones I want enlarged and on my wall!

This week we have school again on thursday and then we start swimming lessons with both kids on thursday evenings, so i will have to take some photos! I hope that all goes well and that they both love it! and on saturday I have not decided for sure since both kids kind of have a cold but I might take henry tubing at the ironwood spring ranch in the evening and olivia might go to wrestling with dad! I am just not sure how much henry would really like it, or if he will just be scared!

well, i gotta get back to work!

Playing at the Park

Good Afternoon, I thought I would just throw up some photos quick, as we went to the park yesterday and I got some very cute photos of the kids that I just wanted to share! Hope you all have a great weekend, I will be workng away but then I do have all of next week off! Lots of things planned....Olivia's 1 year photos on Tuesday, and her 1 year DR appt, Going to do a little shopping with Kari and the MOA on Friday and out for lunch for her Birthday and a date with my hubby someday during the week! Happy 1st Birthday Olivia Kate!

I cannot believe how fast Olivias First Year flew by! It is so sad! She is just getting to be more and more fun though!!!! It is amazing how much a one year old knows and understands! I am ready for her to start walking (kind of)... She really does not show a whole lot of interest in it yet, other than with her walking toys....but she loves being a total girl! On Saturday, Scott and I took H and O to the Childrens Museum in St. Paul and a little boy kept playing with Olivia in this one little area and she kept just waving her bracelet at him...it was so cute! I just thought....what a girl! We had her Birthday Party on the 23rd, and she got so many great toys and cute clothes! And Henry got her a little music/stage toy from him and Scott and I got her a handmade bracelet, necklace and earrings set and it is so precious! I just love it! and surprisingly, she leaves it all alone for the time being! And we also got her a cozy coupe...since Henrys I bought at a garage sale and it has seen much better days! Tonight I actually sadly have to work, but plan to make us a nice supper and scott is bringing home a DQ Reeses Blizzard cake that I can eat! So we can all have some cake for her Bday before I head to work! I will attach a link to some photos for you all to go view...they are too cute! and I can finally get her hair into a cute little pony tail! and I love it! lately she has been pulling all of her bows and flowers out of her hair so I thought ponytails at least are a bit more challenging! Well have a great day, and I will write more soon....oh yeah....and Scott and I booked our flight AND hotel for FT. Myers Beach, Florida for the beginning of March! I cannot wait! 5 days of no kids! what will we do?!?! it will be so great! ~The Morgans
